About the role
About the Role Raising The Village is looking for a Program Coordinator to join its Applied Learning team in Tanzania, translating insights from field implementation, research and technology into accessible learning resources, improved systems and stronger staff capacity. The role reports to the Team Lead, Applied Learning and involves up to 60% travel. Responsibilities Facilitate and quality-control machine translation of program content (guides, manuals, training materials) from English to Kiswahili for frontline staff Coordinate quality assurance of translated documents with consultants, including developing terms of reference Capture and document program methodology, country adaptations, lessons learned and best practices into handbooks, guides and training resources Lead the systematic documentation and analysis of program adaptations in collaboration with program implementation Identify staff learning needs and develop standardized training programs, micro-learning content and evaluation tools Support the design and conduct of qualitative research (focus groups, in-depth interviews) in local languages Analyze and synthesize findings from implementation and pilots to inform program adaptations and improvements Requirements Bachelor's degree in International Development, Knowledge Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, Organizational Learning, Social Sciences or a related field 3-4 years of relevant experience Excellent working Kiswahili (including major local dialects) and English, tested during screening Proven ability to design learning materials and adapt complex technical content into practical formats for frontline staff Strong qualitative research skills, including designing tools and facilitating focus group discussions and in-depth interviews Excellent facilitation, training and communication skills and strong project management and organizational skills Find the gaps before the employer does We check your resume against every requirement in this posting, then show you what to fix.
