Senior Sales Specialist (Building & Industrial)

About the Role Elsewedy Electric is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Specialist to lead business development and sales activities across the industrial and construction sectors, including customer expansion, product approvals, client relationship management, and revenue growth for cable solutions. Responsibilities Achieve assigned order intake, invoicing, gross profit, and payment collection targets across the building and industrial sectors. Develop relationships with developers, consultants, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) contractors, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractors, architects, and industrial clients to secure product approvals during the design stage. Monitor construction project opportunities from inception through bidding, negotiation, and order fulfilment. Conduct customer and site visits to identify project requirements, qualify business opportunities, and present commercial and technical proposals. Collaborate with technical, production, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely project delivery. Maintain accurate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) records, sales pipelines, visit reports, and revenue forecasts for management review. Ensure full compliance with company pricing models, credit policies, contractual obligations, and Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) standards. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field Professional registration with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) or an equivalent professional body At least five years of professional experience with a proven B2B sales record in cable manufacturing (seven years preferred) Technical and commercial expertise in building and industrial cable solutions Contract negotiation and tender management skills CRM tools proficiency Fluency in English and Swahili Do not waste this application You get one chance with this employer.
