About the Role OpenMap Development Tanzania is seeking a creative and motivated intern to support digital communications, content creation, social media management, website updates, media engagement, and organisational visibility. Responsibilities Manage OMDTZ’s social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and X Create and publish engaging content, including articles, photographs, videos, graphics, brochures, and project stories Update and maintain the OMDTZ website Support event and project coverage through photography, videography, interviews, and social media updates Assist with media relations, outreach, campaigns, and stakeholder engagement Contribute to updating OMDTZ’s brand guidelines and Communications Strategy Explore innovative communication approaches, including podcasts, short videos, and digital storytelling Perform other communications-related duties as assigned Requirements Communications, Journalism, or related academic background Writing, editing, and storytelling in English and Kiswahili Photography, videography, graphic design, and video editing skills Social media and website content management skills Creativity, teamwork, willingness to learn, and organisational skills Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or WordPress Many people will apply.
