About the role

Lead mechanical maintenance of underground mobile and plant equipment at Bulyanhulu Gold Mine, reporting to the HME Foreman. You will carry out repairs, preventive maintenance and fault finding, follow isolation and confined space rules, and keep equipment available for safe production. The role also coaches the team, plans upcoming work with the supervisor and orders critical spares.

Key requirements

• Trade certificate as a diesel mechanic or fitter; Valid driving licence; At least 5 years as a diesel mechanic or fitter; Knowledge of Sandvik underground drills, loaders and trucks; Familiarity with Normet and other auxiliary mining equipment
