About the role

Based at CRDB Bank's Tanzania head office, this specialist puts the bank's approved data governance framework into daily practice. The work covers keeping data ownership and stewardship records current, drafting governance policies and standards, and running the secretariat for the data governance council. The role also checks compliance with data policies and escalates exceptions to the right owners.

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business, risk, law or a related field; at least 3 years in data governance, data quality, compliance or risk roles; CDMP, DCAM, privacy or COBIT/CISA certification is a plus; familiarity with governance tools such as Microsoft Purview or Collibra
