About the role

Trees for the Future needs a Senior Manager for Data Systems, based remotely in Tanzania, Kenya or Uganda, to run and improve its Salesforce environment. Roughly half the job is hands on administration and configuration, with the rest split between gathering requirements from MEL, programs, carbon and fundraising teams and managing enhancement projects with external developers. The manager also builds reports and dashboards, supports integrations such as TaroWorks and Power BI, and keeps governance and user guidance up to date.

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; 5 to 7 years of progressive Salesforce administration and data systems experience; Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent expertise; experience gathering requirements and building reports and dashboards; project or implementation management experience; experience with user acceptance testing and controlled releases; experience working with external developers; familiarity with data governance and integrations; Power BI, Tableau or similar tools; must already be based in Kenya, Tanzania or Uganda
