About the role
About the Role Raising The Village is looking for 7 Project Officers to support the implementation, coordination and performance management of its programs in Tanzania. Reporting to the Project Manager, Project Officers work with district technical teams, government officials, Project Assistants and community actors, reside and work in the wards, and travel up to 80% of the time. Responsibilities Ensure government officials' and Project Assistants' workplans align with approved project designs and are implemented accordingly Conduct a minimum of three field visits per week to oversee, verify and support implementation activities Support district, ward and village officials to execute RTV-aligned training, coaching and follow-up activities Verify that government-led frontline delivery adheres to RTV technical standards and protocols Review field reports, workplans and action plans for quality, completeness and timeliness, and contribute inputs to weekly, monthly and donor reports Identify implementation risks and propose practical mitigation measures Conduct weekly cluster review meetings and provide day-to-day guidance and coaching to Project Assistants and government extension workers Ensure compliance with RTV policies, safeguarding standards and code of conduct Requirements At least 3 years of relevant experience Strong verbal and written English and Kiswahili; knowledge of Kinyambo and Kihaya is an advantage Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organizational, facilitation and leadership skills with attention to detail Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, physically able to work in rural high-terrain environments and able to ride a motorbike Find the gaps before the employer does We check your resume against every requirement in this posting, then show you what to fix.
