About the role
About the Role The Institute of Accountancy Arusha (IAA), a public higher learning institution under the Ministry of Finance, is seeking an Assistant Lecturer in Programming to teach, conduct research and provide consultancy services at its campuses in Dar es Salaam and Dodoma. Responsibilities Teach undergraduate and non-degree courses in Programming and related computing subjects. Prepare course outlines, lecture notes, teaching materials and laboratory exercises. Set, invigilate and mark tests and examinations. Supervise students' practical work, projects and field attachments. Conduct research, publish scholarly work and participate in consultancy and community service. Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field with a programming specialisation. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a strong academic record (upper second class or equivalent GPA). Proficiency in programming languages and software development practices. Good communication, presentation and teaching skills. Ability to conduct research and supervise students. Many people will apply. Few will match.
